Amulius threw his brother from the throne.Rhea was his sister. He forced his niece to become a vestal priestess so she would bear no sons to contest his rule. But she still suffered as god Mars forces himself on her, which resulted in pregnancy of the twins.
Amulius in fear of potential rivals threw Romulus and Remus into the Tiber river, there was strong currents.A she wolf heard the poor babies and came to shelter and nourish them, Faustulus saw them and took them in to raise them.
Later on because of the celebrations the villagers were ambushed and Remus was captured. But Amulius soon realized that they were his long lost grandsons. Romulus killed Amulius.
They went back to where they were found but the two brothers grew apart, they always argued. They both occupied different walls. They hoped they would get a sign from god to settle their dispute.Vultures came but then double that number came over Romulus, he settled this and killed his brother. The city is now named after them (Rome).
They wanted the city to grow fast, so they let anyone come. But for some reason it was seeking women. Romulus held many events and festivals in the city. These events led to battle, only the women could stop it so they put themselves in between the battle. The Romans and the Sabians combined into one people.
Later on there was a huge thunderstorm and Romulus was gone.
