Storyboard Text

  • Can I have your spot?
  • I'm sorry sir, but she is sitting in this spot.
  • 2050: It was a cloudy day and I was on my way to work with my friend Raina. We were waiting for the bus to come get us.
  • I'm sorry sir, But I was here first.
  • As we boarded the bus we realized that it was very full.  There were almost no spots left.
  • Oh...
  • Raina and I were able to find two seats so we both sat down next to eachother. Another man who boarded the bus with us didn't have a seat. So he came up to my friend and asked if he could have her spot.
  • Raina didn't know what to say. So I decided to talk for her and ask why he thought he could take her spot. She ended up speaking.
  • Then I started talking to my friend. This reminds me of Rosa Parks and how she refused to move from her seat.
  • Fortunatly, today people like Rosa Park we can no longer discriminate against religion or race.
