Send a fleet of 130 ships to England immediately!
Long live England!
King Phillip II of Spain wants to punish Queen Elizabeth's rejection of his marriage proposal, his desire to spread Catholicism to their Protestant country, the execution of Queen Mary, and for English sailors robbing Spanish treasure ships.
The British ships were greatly outnumbered but they were smaller and better manned. They also sent fire ships at the Spanish crescent formation, which destroyed many ships and caused the remaining ones to flee.
Due to the Spain's poor leadship and contruction of ships, the battle resulted in a British victory and was viewed as a Protestant victory across Europe.
