We the Anti-Federalists believe that we do need a strong National Government.
As a Federalist, I believe that a strong National Government is very important.
As an Anti-Federalist, I feel that a strong National government will be dangerous for state power and the rights of the common people.
As a Federalist I believe that a strong National Government will protect the people and will keep the states under control
As a member of the Anti-Federalist group we are willing to compromise and sign the constitution if the Federalist group agrees that a Bill of Right will be added quickly.
We the Federalists believe that we need to hurry and quickly sign the constitution, even if we do not have a Bill of Rights.
Here in the South we want slaves counted as part of the population because it would allow for more people in the House of Representatives.
Me and my fellow Northerners do not want to count slaves in the population because that would give the South a greater voice in the House of Representatives.
The South is agianst counting slaves for tax purposes.
In the North we believe the slave population should be counted for taxes.
Together we agreed to the Three-Fifths Compromise to keep peace between the North and South. If we count three-fifths of the slave population for House of Representatives and for taxes, that would be fair to both sides.
