  • Hey. I am on a school trip and i forget the difference between a landform and landscape. Do you know the difference?
  • And a landform: are the shape of the land surface that result from physical processes.
  • Yeah i do actually. A landscapes are the visible features of an area that you can see
  • *Blows whistle* alright class gather round please. Currently we are gathered in front of a volcano. Does anyone know what forms a volcano?
  • Ah yes indeed. They are formed by tectonic plates. Tectonics are processes within the mantle which build up the various features on the Earth's crust including volcanos
  • Tectonics also cause faults. Faults are a separation or crack in. layers of earth's crust caused by stress and movement of earths tectonic plates
  • Kids come take a look at these fossils. there is some damage on them caused by erosion and weathering. Anyone remember the difference from out workbooks?
  • YepErosion: the wearing down, transportation and deposition of material by water, wind and ice
  • Yes weathering is: The physical or chemical breakdown of materials into smaller materials
