Hey. I am on a school trip and i forget the difference between a landform and landscape. Do you know the difference?
And a landform: are the shape of the land surface that result from physical processes.
Yeah i do actually. A landscapes are the visible features of an area that you can see
*Blows whistle* alright class gather round please. Currently we are gathered in front of a volcano. Does anyone know what forms a volcano?
Ah yes indeed. They are formed by tectonic plates. Tectonics are processes within the mantle which build up the various features on the Earth's crust including volcanos
Tectonics also cause faults. Faults are a separation or crack in. layers of earth's crust caused by stress and movement of earths tectonic plates
Kids come take a look at these fossils. there is some damage on them caused by erosion and weathering. Anyone remember the difference from out workbooks?
YepErosion: the wearing down, transportation and deposition of material by water, wind and ice
Yes weathering is: The physical or chemical breakdown of materials into smaller materials
