Storyboard Text

  • In this scene Odysseus and his men visit Aeolus, lord of the winds he gave them wind to blow them home and all the other winds in a bag. Some of the men opened the bag and it blew them all over. So Aeolus refused to help them again.
  • In this scene Odysseus and his men came across an island where all the animals look very docile with strange eyes. Odysseus sends his right hand man with half his men to the island. She fed the men and when they all fell alseep took out a wand and turned them all to pigs. Which is why all the men were sad they were men too.  The god hermes gave Odysseus a green twig called molly in which he was able to turn the men back to human form.
  • In this scene Odysseus and his men come across this land where cattle and fat sheep are grazing. At first Odysseus is against it but then gives into staying on this island, but he told his men not to touch the animals. While Odysseus slept his men decided they were hungry and killed the cattle for steaks. Of course the old sun god Helius was angry and told Zeus if he didn't do something he would never let the sun rise again. 
  • In this scene after  Zeus punished Odysseus by killing his men Princess Nausicaa revives Odysseus by giving him food and water. She instructs him on how to talk to her father. After he talks to the king and queen they promise to send him home safely. Which is exactly what they do.
  • In this scene after Odysseus made it home Athena and a couple other close associates help Odysseus make a plan .he is dressed up as an old beggar because if he goes they will try to kill him. as he enters the castle them men are super rude to him and his wife finally decides that who ever can bend the bow of Odysseus she would marry. Odysseus then offers and get his arrow through all of the axes then kills all 108 of the suitors with the help of Telemachus, Eumaeus, and Philoitios.
  • In this scene Odysseus tells his wife a story to help her believe it was really him. That night Athena held back dawn so they could enjoy their night together, and Odysseus told her all about his travels home.
