HI. My name is Amelia and I grew up in a world full of art.
Everywhere you looked, you could find some form of art. There was art in peoples clothing, on walls and ceilings, in houses or buildings, and anywhere else you can imagine. I'm sure that if you walked down the street you would find at least one form of art. The street itself could even be art.
Art was a way of letting people express themselves. With art you could create anything you ever wanted or dreamed of. You could become anyone depending on the way you dressed and be anywhere if you just painted a simple picture. It created happiness and hope in our world.
But over the past few years things have changed. The government has decided to get rid of art. No one is sure about why they are doing this but there are many different theories. Some believe that it has to do with the government wanting to control us. Others believe that the government thinks we are becoming to advanced and they don't want us to be.
The real question that we should be asking is, how are we going to be able to express ourselves and continue to have hopes and dreams.? Especially the children who still belive in fairy tales. What are we going to do when they stop believing and no longer have an imagination full of color and happiness? How can we continue on in a world without art?
Will we eventually have art again or will it remain like this forever. Nobody can be sure. Only time will tell how this is going to play out.
