Dear Representative Dowdy, I am a concerned parent of a child that goes to a local middle school in Carteret County, I am concerned with the information my child is hearing about the LGBT community and believe that all school in the county should be taught more about these individuals so that children arent being fed false information.
There is a large group of LGBT members that believe that this would be a great bill to pass.
The bill definitely needs amendments to avoid conflict.
I dont agree with this bill, it will just cause to much conflict between those who dont want to learn about this topic and thos who do.
The concerned parent wrote an e-mail to the Representative to persuade her into helping solve this problem. The bill is then sent to Congress where it is discussed and debated on.
we vote yes
we vote no
The bill is then introduced to the House of Representatives were the bill will go through its first reading.
we highly agree with the amendments given.
Speaker of the House assigns the chosen bill to another Committee for them to debate on whether they agree or disagree on the bill. They look into the effects of this bill and decide whether amendments should be made or not.
After the bill has been debated on and given amendments, it then goes to Assembly
The bill go back to the original house so that they can be approved( this is only if any of the amendments were made by Senate)
Afterwards the bill will be passed by both houses and was sent to the president.
