  • The Great Compromise
  • Virginia Plan
  • We should have proportional representation! It's not fair how we have more people, but we don't get more votes! We, the bigger states, should get more votes!
  • The Great Compromise was an agreement between the large and small states. It was reached during the Continental Convention of 1787.
  • NO!!! We need equal representation! Every state should get the same amount of votes! That's the only way it's fair!
  • New Jersey Plan
  • I think we should have a bicameral legislature. There should be representation based on population for congress.
  • There should be equal representation in congress with a one house legislature!
  • We will have a bicameral legislature. The upper house is the Senate. It has equal representation. The lower house is the House of Representatives which will have proportional representation.
  • Three-Fifths Compromise
  • Slaves should not count for population! Slaves don't have any rights so they should be property. Counting slaves would increase the power of southern states and that's unfair!
  • Yes they should count! We want more representation in Congress!
  • Slaves should be taxed!
  • Slaves should not be used to determine taxation! They're property, so they don't count!
  • Three-Fifths of the slaves would be counted for population and taxation.
