  • Fort Sumter is an island fortification located in Charleston Harbor, South Carolina. The confederates took victory. April 12, 1861-April 14, 1861.

  • The first battle of the American Civil War, which was fought in Washington, DC. July 21, 1861. They soon realized they needed more training.
