  • Knowledge is power!
  • Take my crown bro
  • Let's betray that brother of mine!
  • Prospero, the rightful Duke of Milan, was well known and respected in Milan. He was passionate about his studies.
  • Prospero gave his brother Antonio power so he could focus on studying. Antonio took over his place in the government as the Duke of Milan.
  • You can escape now!
  • Antonio turned Prospero's men against him and betrayed his brother. Milan changed so much under his rule that it became unfamiliar to Prospero. Antonio gained support by turning the men that were once loyal to Prospero against him and paying Prospero's enemy, the KIng of Naples.
  • Thou filth!
  • Antonio sent Prospero and Miranda out of Milan and to an island on a boat in poor condition.Luckily, a noble Neopolitan named Gonzalo gave the necessary materials to help Prospero and Miranda on their journey.  They made it safely with God's help and Gonzalo's.
  • Prospero freed Ariel from cruel imprisonment in a pine tree by his previous master, a witch named Sycorax who had a lot of power on the island. He then made Ariel his slave.
  • Caliban was in line to be King as he is Sycorax's son and heir to the island, but Prospero made him his slave. He tried to educate Caliban and even lived in the same cell as him until he tried to violate Miranda. Now Caliban is unappreciative but must follow Prospero's orders, as Prospero is more powerful than him.
