Hi, I am Ferdinand Magellan. I was born in 1480 in Portugal but recently I moved to Spain to get the support of the King and Queen for my Journey.
I am the first European to cross the Pacific ocean, I'm so cool!
It's now 1519 and I am about to head off for my journey. I'm sailing for Spain as King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella are funding my journey.
I have reached my destination of South America and I have sailed across the Pacific Ocean, the first European to be exact.
I sailed originally to find a western route to the spice islands and found many spices. Unfortunately though, I died(1521) in battle on our voyage so I could not finish the journey home with the spices with my men.
FUN FACT ALERT! I hurt my knee in battle and I had to walk with a limp.
