  • Someone may be against this bill because the men that are already on the board may already be doing a sufficient enough job or they want to avoid diversity so that everyone just agrees with what one of the men says without argument.
  • Since your board is made up of all men, we have to replace 1/3 of you with women to provide diversity.
  • We feel that you would be better fit in the human resources department  because of your excellent social skills
  • This bill must be supported because there is a good amount of evidence supporting the fact that when there are women on corporate boards there is greater financial performance and increased productivity.
  • We have a job opening on the board and we feel that your presence would greatly increase the success of our company
  • Alright, let's get back to work people.
  • Each corporate board must be evaluated by the head of the board. If there is already 1/3 women in the board then no changes needed to be made. If the board has less than 1/3 women, then the head will start the process of replacing certain members.
  • The people would not necessarily  have to be fired, but if there is another job open that they would fit better in, then they could just be moved to that job without losing their job completely. The members that come in will most likely be someone that already works for the company and would be helpful to the board overall
  • Once all of the necessary changes are made, the board will go back to its normal actions for its company.
