So, In the mid 1700’s the Industrial Revolution began in England and transformed the way work was done forever
Ya know, Before the Industrial Revolution Most Europeans worked and lived on small farming villages using inefficient methods of farming
I worked as a dipper.dipper. I would dip matches into phosphorous, which is deadly if a large amount is inhaled. This chemical caused the other's teeth to rot and some even died from inhalation from phosphorous fumes. Thankfully not me!
Employees were expected to work 12 to 16 hours a day There was no safety protocol put in place and it was common for employees to lose limbs and even their lives Family life changes drastically It was now common to have family members working double shifts and spend most of their time a work Children even were expected in some situation to work to help support their family
The Industrial revolution was huuuge but sadly it gave us the ability to harm our Earth more and burned off fossil fumes it also led the death to many children. I died at 25 due to the fumes I inhaled in the Factory :( Though people died It has impacted The world and changed everything we know today From, Gill
