I don't believe your story!!
But I am just the messenger!
You are the killer!
Oedipus's Hamartia is his ignorance. He doesn't believe anyone but himself, and is quick to make rash decisions. (Like killing someone while traveling).
Oedipus was also arrogant who never let anyone hurt his pride, and loved those who indulged in it.
Oedipus ignored Tiresias's accusations and continued to pursue his 'truth'.
Then after everything clicked Oedipus realized his mistakes, and that he had already proven that fate is inevitable.
It was me the entire time...
His mother and wife Jocasta kills herself and he gauges out his eyes in despair.
The audience pities Oedipus even though he is the one who brought the news upon himself. He could not have avoided the fate bestowed upon him.
