  • The morning of June 27th was clear and sunny with the fresh warmth of the full-summer day; the flowers were blossoming profusely and the grass was richly green. The people of the village began to gather in the square 
  • Alright! The annual lottery will begin soon!
  • Mrs. Hutchinson, a mother, and wife goes home and cant find her family. She then remembers that the annual lottery is today. 
  • How could I forget the lottery??
  • Is anyone missing?
  • I'm Here!
  • Where is Mrs. Hutchinson?
  • They are about to start the lottery when Mrs. Hutchinson comes running in to her family late. 
  • THe type of shot is a medium shot and the camera focus is on the guy and the black box. The camera will be at a high angle
  • Come pick your slip
  • THe lottery has been a tradition for a while so people are eager to get past the long opening ritual and get to the lottery.  
  • A medium or cut away shot and the camera focus is on Mrs Hutchinson. THe camera will be from a straight or low angle.
  • Who is the winner?
  • Mrs Hutchinson! Its Mrs. Hutchinson!
  • The town has found their winner and must see the truth behind this tradition
  • THis is gonna be a long shot to show everyone in the town with the focus full showing everything in view. I will be shot from a high camera angle. 
  • The winner Mrs. Hutchinson is to be stoned! Everyone in the village gather around to stone the winner of the annual lottery.
  • NO!!!! You cant do this!
  • Crane shot moving around showing dramatic effect. The focus will be on the people lining up and Mrs Hutchinson to show foreshadowing.
  • This is a long shot and maybe some dramatic music or pop to get the audience's attention. The focus is to switch from different people looking around to see who won. 
  • A close up of Mrs. Hutchinson crying with a side angle.
