  • That is a great question! The papyrus plant comes from marshy areas around the Nile river.

  • When did they start using the papyrus?
  • They started using the papyrus as early as 3,000 BC in Ancient Egypt.

  • And did you know that they continued to use the papyrus until 1100 AD.
