  • The Book Of Three By Lloyd Alexander
  • "'Does it truly matter? Which of you did what, since all of you shared the same goal and the same danger, nothing we do is ever done entirely alone"" (185).
  • Remember when I first woke up and saw you? I didn't even think you were a warrior.
  • Haha, yes I do remember, and I thought you were a crazy boy who was lost in the woods.
  • I'm very fortunate that I found you. You and everyone like Eilonwey helped me find Hen Wen and Caer Dathyl.
  • I am very fortunate that I found you. Through all the things we've went through you've stayed by my side and fought with me.
  • By the way it wasn't Elionwey and Gurgy who did any of the quest. It was yours. Be proud of what you did.
  • I know what you mean...we all had a part of the quest, we shared the same dangers and experiences. You can't do everything alone. You need friendship to help you with your trials in life.
  • "'I thought that I would be able to reach Caer Dathyl by myself. I see now that I wouldn't have got even this far without your help. It is a good destiny that brings me such brave companions"" (107).
  • Work Cited Alexander, Lloyd. The Book of Three. New York:Henry Holt, 1964. Print.
  • I agree with what you said. That was very wise of you to see that it wasn't just you who completed the quest, it was also the friends who surrounded you throughout the journey.
  • I see a common theme here...you always want to keep friends by your side because there will be tough trials that you will have to face, and friends will get you through it.
