Mystery Beach Scenario//Part 1
This storyboard does not have a description.
Audrey and Mr. Sampson were out on a picturesque picnic date at 7:45 on a Friday night.
In the background, there Claire and her father were on her father's fishing charter boat. (Claire lives in a country house 3 miles west of Beachville, so she often goes with her father on his boat.)
As the boat was moving, there was a baby whale that was frantically swimming around nearby looking for his mother. The whale was identified as a humpback whale because of its long flippers and 2 blowholes. Perched on the rock nearby, there was a bird. This bird was was a ringed-bill gull, because of its yellowish legs and gray wings/white stomach.
As the sky became darker, the boat moved closer and closer to the whale, without realizing it was there.
Suddenly, there was a loud BANG! The steel boat had hit the baby whale. The collision was so strong, that the whale was injured. Claire and her father did not know what had happened. They rushed to the front of the boat and did not see anything. The baby whale was almost under the boat, making itself unnoticeable. They decided to go back home, and see if any damage was done to the boat.
As the waves became more violent (a result of high tide), the whale eventually crashed into the nearby rock that the ring-billed gull was standing on. Since the whale weighed so much, the heavy weight of it crashed onto and broke the unstable rock.
