Telling my child he/she has Dyslexia
When first telling your child he/she has dyslexia, first make sure y'all are in a comfortable place with plenty time to talk.
Explain to them that it is not their fault, and that many people experience this. And that they can still be a very successful person if they continue to work hard
Try to get them out of the house to enjoy some time together. Answer any questions they may have.
And lastly, make sure to check in on them often and offer to help them out.
