  • Telling my child he/she has Dyslexia
  • When first telling your child he/she has dyslexia, first make sure y'all are in a comfortable place with plenty time to talk.
  • Explain to them that it is not their fault, and that many people experience this. And that they can still be a very successful person if they continue to work hard
  • Try to get them out of the house to enjoy some time together. Answer any questions they may have.
  • And lastly, make sure to check in on them often and offer to help them out.
