Could I please use the table for two afternoons a week?
No. I have work to do too.
Anne vs. Dussel
Anne deserves to use the table for the two afternoons she's asked for.
Fine. She better appreciate it.
Setting: Dussel arrives at the Secret Annex on Monday, November 16, 1942. Conflict: Anne and Dussel do not get along well. Main characters involved: Dussel and Anne are the main characters within this conflict. However, Otto also plays a role.
Thanks for letting me use the table Dussel!
Anne and Dussel argue over many concepts including the usage of the small desk in their room. Anne asks Dussel if she could use it for two afternoons a week from four to five thirty instead of every day during Dussel's nap. However, Dussel tells her no, claiming that her work is not as important.
Since Dussel denied Anne her wish, Otto decides to reason with him. Otto tells Dussel why he believes that Anne deserves her wish. Finally, Dussel gives in, and Anne gets to use the table for two afternoons a week.
Anne is glad that she is allowed to use the table. However, Dussel is still a bit angry so he doesn't speak to Anne for a couple days.
A few days pass, and Dussel begins speaking to Anne again. They have stopped arguing as much and both have an opportunity to use the table. All is well at the Secret Annex for the moment.
