  • But Mr. Frank, what about this.
  • Get rid of it all. Burn it.

  • Hello Mr. Frank.
  • This is Dussel, Mr. Frank.
  • Mr. Frank goes to the old warehouse where his family and friends stayed. He goes there to say good bye to Miep, and she askes where he is going and why. He tells her that he does not know where he is going, but that he can not stay because there are too many memories.
  • Scene 4
  • No! No! Don't... don't take me!
  • The VanDaans have already arrived at the annex and are waiting for the Franks, but they start becoming worried about them when they are late. Once the finally arrive, they all get settled in and go over the rules of when they can do what in order to not get caught.
  • Scene 5
  • Mr. Kraller visits the annex and asks if they have space for one more person to stay with them. They do so Mr. Kraller goes out and gets Dussel. He claimes that he is good with children so he will be staying with Anne.
  • Anne is having a nightmare and while in the nightmare she is screaming in real life. Everyone quiets and comforts her before anyone outside hears. Anne also says that she prefers to be with her father rather than her mother, and this really hurts her mothers feelings.
  • It is the first night of Hanukkah and Mr. Frank is reading out of a prayer book to everyone. They are all in their best clothes. Then once Mr. Frank is done reading, Anne hands out gifts she has gathered for everyone. Once all the gifts are handed out, everyone is singing, but they all suddenly become silent. There is a sound of footsteps downstairs, but it turns out to just be a thief.
