Besides many pods being stacked on top of each other on a wall, Lewis has yet to see anything that interesting. But after 3 or 4 minutes of walking, he started to hear footsteps behind him. Those footsteps then got faster and louder, until suddenly...
(Yeesh, you're uglier up close, hopefully, I don't see anybody else like you again.)
Lewis felt himself get propelled across the corridor by an unknown. After hitting the floor, he looked back to see a man with scaly green skin in what seemed to be a blue hoodie dashing towards him at full speed.
It then grabbed Lewis by the back of his shirt and started dragging him back to where it came from. Lewis attempted to break free from its grasp, but alas, the effort was wasted. Looking back, he saw that it was dragging him to the only pod was open.
After he was forcibly thrown into the pod, it then slammed closed, trapping Lewis. After brushing his hands off on his coat, he then gawked at him and murmured something in a language unfamiliar to Lewis, but he could only assume it was an insult.
The lizard thing then left and Lewis started to feel drowsy and his visions slowly began to fade. It felt like his head was being emptied, that his memories of this place were being wiped away. He forgot about being thrown into a pod, the weird lizard thing, and everything he saw as soon as he exited the pod. A light suddenly began to form in front of him, and then he was in front of his house.
Now, Lewis was back where he started. To him, it seemed that he just walked to the front of his house, the exact same way he did before. Perhaps this was done because the truth was too much, sometimes questions are better left unanswered.
