  • The East India Trade Company is found in England and begins to build warehouses in India.
  • 1757
  • The French and British had a full scale war over the competitions between their India Trade Companies.
  • 1850
  • The Indian general is convinced to help in a war against the ruler of Bengal. The battle was won and the British then had control of Bengal.
  • Robert Clive became a hero for convincing the general to help them in war. He became ruler of Bengal and used his newfound power to drive out the French.
  • SEE YA LATER FRANCE!
  • 60% of India was ruled by Britian. All Indian traditions and ceremonies were banned and the British education system was required. The Indians resented the British reign.
