Mr. Dussel, may I please use the table in our room more often?
I cannot give you permission to do so, as I actually do important work at the table.
Anne vs. Dussel
Mr. Dussel, may Anne use the small table more often?
Setting: Anne and Dussels room / Annex Conflict: Anne wants to use the table more often, but Dussel will not let her. Main Characters involved: Anne, Dussel, and Otto Frank
Anne is only able to use the little table when Mr. Dussel is sleeping or not using it. Mr. Dussel uses the table a lot, giving Anne barely any time to use it. Then Anne politely asks him if she can use it more often, but Mr. Dussel refuses in a stubborn tone.
Anne was rude to Dussel because he was rude to her. Otto Frank intervened when Anne told him about the controversy. Mr. Frank resolved the situation by convincing to let Anne have the table more often.
Anne is officially happy with her request coming true. She now had the small table on two afternoons a week from four to five-thirty. Although Dussel was not fond about the request coming true he dealt with it.
Mr. Dussel, is it my turn to use the table now?
I wish you couldn´t use it, but it is your turn now.
Anne and Dussel adjusted to when they get to use the small table. They are both able to get their work done. The two occupants have now adjusted to sharing a room together.
