Anne Frank has to share a room with Mr. Dussel, a dentist who has moved into the secret annex. This shows Mr. Dussel and Anne arguing over when Anne could use the table in the room.
North Amsterdam had been heavily and devastatingly bombed on Sunday, November 18, 1943. Two hundred were estimated to be dead, and thousands of others were wounded. Hospitals were crammed with the wounded.
While the Frank family is having dinner, Peter comes rushing into the room telling Mr. Frank he heard a barrel fall over. The pair goes to check the place, and they find out that it was just rats in the attic.
