Setting: Anne and Mr. Dussel's bedroom Conflict: Anne wants to use the table in their room, but Mr. Dussel won't allow her to use it. Anne explains to Mr. Dussel that she uses it for writing and schoolwork. Mr. Dussel still denies her request. Main Character involved: Anne and Mr. Dussel
Anne goes to her father and tells him about her problem with Mr. Dussel. Anne explains to him that she needs to also use it for school work and writing. Mr. Frank tells her to wait until tomorrow and then confront him about it. She then agrees to his request.
Anne confronts Mr. Dussel the next day, and Mr. Dussel snaps. He tells her that she is the most immature child he has ever met. He also told her he actually uses the table for work purposes and not for free time.
Anne tells her father what he said to her and decides that he will talk to Mr. Dussel about the problem. Mr. Dussel tries to explain to Mr. Frank that Anne is the problem. but Mr. Frank defends Anne and denies that Anne would never do anything like that. Afterall, Anne is his daughter.
After Mr. Dussel and Mr. Frank's talk, Mr. Dussel decides to let Anne use the table twice a week from 2:30-5pm. This makes Anne feel happy, but Mr. Dussel is still bothered by the agreement.
