Suzzie only wants to eat chocolate chip cookies and potato chips for lunch
What would you like for lunch Suzzie?
2 chocolate chips cookies and a handful of potato chips.
That's not a very healthy lunch Suzzie. What if we make a healthier meal.
Suzzie's mom really wants her to eat healthier foods for lunch.
But Mom! I really want Chocolate Chip Cookies!
How about we run to the grocery store and buy some ingredients to make a well balanced meal.
They decided to go to the grocery store and buy foods to make a balanced meal.
Fine, I guess I will go to the grocery store with you
Suzzie learns the five groups are: fruits, vegetables, protein, dairy, and grain
But Mom, what even goes into a well balanced meal?
Well Suzzie you need the 5 food groups. Fruits, vegetables, protein, grain, and dairy
Here we will make some spaghetti for lunch. We will use tomato sauce, ground beef, bread sticks, and pineapple on the side. We can even add cheese to the top of it.
Suzzie and her mom decide to make spaghetti and different side items for lunch.
