Storyboard Text

  • Do you ever wonder why things don't move until you touch them?
  • Actually, it is part of Newton's 1st Law of Motion
  • I thought that was an object in motion will stay in motion?
  • Somewhat.. but not really. An object will remain in its current state of motion unless acted on by an unbalanced force.
  • Well if it's talking about motion, why is the ball staying still?
  • The law also includes objects at rest. The ball will stay at rest until you kick it, for example.
  • My kick was the unbalanced force. So what happens to the ball now?
  • Now that the ball is moving, it will continue to move with a constant velocity until...
  • HAHAHA! Look who's the unbalanced force now!
  • Very funny..
  • Well, thanks for teaching me about the 1st law of motion. It was quite.. entertaining
  • Maybe for you!
