The Franks and other Jewish people must cope with the conditions of being hunted and mistreated by Nazi soldiers.
The Franks, Civilians, and other Jewish people were always hearing sounds of weapons such as bombs and gun fire. Some people even died due to getting caught in cross fire. The Franks often hear sounds of bombs near their annex.
Anne often suffers from depression and struggles with behaving. She is very talkative and this leads to arguements which sometimes gets her into trouble.
