Many people came Plymouth because they had different religions and wanted to practice their religions freely.
By time the settlers got there, the land was covered in snow because it was further up north.
To make money the couldn't farm because it was to cold, so they fished, went whaling, and cut down trees for timber.
They didn't get permission to settle were they did so they decided to make a social contract know as the Mayflower Compact.
The difference between Jamestown and Plymouth is that Jamestown got legal permission to settle were they did, Plymouth did not. They also have different ways of getting money.
