Storyboard Text

  • The day of Orpheus and Eurydice's wedding, Eurydice is bitten by a snake and dies.
  • Orpheus travels down to the underworld to see Eurydice. He plays music on his way down and at the bottom he is face to face with Hades. Hades grants Eurydice permission to return with Orpheus, unless he turns around to look at her.
  • Unfortunately when Orpheus reaches the top, before he steps outside he turns around and sees Eurydice. He runs to hug her but she vanishes back to the underworld.
  • King Minos locks Daedalus and Icarus in a labyrinth and waits for them to die.
  • After being in the labyrinth for some time now, Daedalus decides they will escape. He has tried every possible way to escape except the sky. So he calls his son to collect feathers and Daedalus starts working on the wax wings.
  • After taking to the sky Icarus forgot his fathers instructions and flew too high. As he was flying higher and higher the sun started to melt the wax. Once the wings were melted through Icarus plunged into the sea and died. His father, Daedalus, buried him on an island shortly after, then he left for Sicily.
