  • How a bill becomes a law
  • Someone comes up with an idea and makes it into a bill.
  • Middle schools should provide a class dedicated for doing homework. Kids would be able to spend more time outside!
  • Bill
  • When a bill is created, they introduce it to the House of Representatives, where they pass it down to the House of Congress (committee)
  • Bill
  • When the bill is sent to the committee, they study it and hear from experts. They can send it to get voted on or table it.
  • Hmm, good idea.
  • If it gets passes, the whole House votes on it. If many people vote on it, the speaker of the House sends it to the Senate where the process starts all over again.
  • A Senator would introduce the bill and then it would get sent back to the committee.
  • Bill
