Storyboard Text

  • Daedalus and his  son Icarus   escaped from the king  of the island they were living on. 
  • They decided to make wings  made out  wax . They made two pairs, one for each other them, and waited for the right time to fly. Daedalus warned Icarus not to go too high because the wax will melt and not too low because  of the moisture.
  • On the flight Icarus was too brought up in all the excitment, that he forgot about going too high.  He ended up having his  wings melt. Daedalus was too late in catching  Icarus and he died. Daedalus  went to Sicily and gave his wings to the God Apollo.
  • The musician Orpheus and the nymph Eurydice were getting married, until she died from a snake bite.
  • Orpheus went to Hades to get his love back and made a deal that as long as he doesn't look back during his way back to Earth. He ends up looking back at Eurydice and lives alone again.
  • Orpheus  ends up being killed by the women of Trace because he would love no one else. Now  Eurydice and  Orpheus walk together in Hades forever together.
