We have no money left beta, we may have to sell the house
So you know how Rub Bish has those fighting tournaments?
NO! You will not do this. Are you trying to get yourself killed?
Should I fight?
River, a middle aged Indian woman and her son, Gange are standing outside the food market, contemplating the problems they are facing. They both are struggling in the town of Varanasi. River tells Gange, "We have no money left beta (a term of endearment for children), we may have to sell the house". Gange says deep in thought, "Do not worry Amma (mother), I have a plan". (Diction)
This will be the best decision of my life!
Gange tells his plan to his mother and she is livid, as these so-called fighting tournaments have always led to the death of Bish's opponents. They argue till night and River continues to stand her ground on telling Gange not to fight. Gange knows meanwhile, that Rub Bish is a manipulative, strong, and cunning opponent that will not be easy to defeat. Gange, however, maintains his confidence in himself.
May God give me the power of Shiva.(Allusion)
The consequence of losing is death?
He has no idea what he is getting himself into. MWAHAHA
Sign the contract, and you have the chance to win 20 lakhs.
Gange slept on his mother's advice to not fight, but was conflicted because he wants his mother to live comfortably without having to worry. He decided then, against his mother's wishes, that he would fight against Rub Bish in a tournament to win money.
Two Hours Later...
Hit me if you dare!
The next day, Ganges sneaked out the house and signed up to fight Rub Bish at the carnival. He paid the last of his money he had to sign up, 30 rupees. He read the cash prize for surviving against Rub Bish was 20 lakhs, an insane amount of money capable to keep Ganges' family afloat for generations. He knew that he had to capitalize on the opportunity.
After registering, Gange was sent to another room where he talked with his soon adversary, Rub Bish, about the rules of the fight. While signing the contract that explained that death is a consequence of losing, he also read again the absurd number, 20 lakhs. However, Gange thought to himself about the dire consequences if he loses this fight. If he loses, his mother is alone in her struggles. All Gange needed to do was survive.
Two hours pass by very fast for Gange, and it is now time for both him and Rub to fight. Little did Gange know, that Rub had inhuman qualities. Rub had the power of an elephant, an elephant that could move things with its mind.(Anadiplosis) Once they both got in the ring, Gange's nervous feelings started to show. The bell rang and they both started fighting each other.
