After analyzing that 5 employees could make 66.66666... cupcakes in 1 hour, the manager realized that she was only a few steps away in finding the result. She finally decided, using her knowledge with math, that in order to find the time taken to make 150 cupcakes with 5 employees, she had to divide 150 by 66.66666...
She did so and ultimately got the answer, 2.25. This meant it would take 2.25 hours to bake 150 cupcakes with 5 employees. She advanced to her last step.
Using her logic, she concluded that they were 60 minutes in 1 hour, so she would have to multiply 2.25 by 60 in order to get her final answer in minutes. Getting her answer in minutes would help her plan the speed her employees had to work better and she would be able to control the speed better this way.
She multiplied 2.25 by 60 and got a correct answer of 135. After checking her answer, she concluded that after doing all of this math, it would take 135 minutes for her 5 employees to bake 150 cupcakes.
She looked at the clock and saw that it was 4:45 P.M., which meant there were only 135 minutes until the customer was coming to take her cupcakes. After realizing how much time she took to find this out, she expressed a concern for time and told her employees to start working on the order right away and working at a faster speed. She continued explaining when the scene faded away.
Exactly at 7:00 P.M., the customer walked in to get her cupcakes. The manager asked the employees if the order was ready frantically, and one employee had just finished the last cupcake when she asked this. The manager sighed a huge sigh of relief and packed the order, promptly handing it to the customer with satisfaction. The customer thanked the manager and even leaved a tip!
