  • During the Industrial Revolution population grew so much!
  • So many big changes occurred due to this.
  • Population growth causes higher demand.
  • What does that mean?
  • Since so many new immigrants needed jobs...
  • Yes! Jobs were harder to find
  • Why specifically in cities?
  • There was higher demand for employment?
  • Urban areas were first to be industrialized, so people moved there.
  • Oh! Well what about rural areas?
  • People did not settle there as much Because they were not industrialized yet.
  • So, I bet there were significantly less farmers!
  • Right! This is when we struggle the most with food supply.
  • Ah I see! We were getting less as we needed more.
