Now that we have educated ourselves with the cell theories, needs of microscopes and the results of the "bug" investigation, we are going to look for my tennis ball that we lost a couple of days ago. I'm pretty sure we threw it into the graveyard by accident, let's go check there first!
Yesss, I found it and I'm getting pretty freaked out as well because of this grave so lets go!
Anton Van Leewenhoek (1723)
Wow, he's really a 'scardy-cat'. First the bug, then this.
Yup, your right! He named 'bacteria', as 'plantacules', nooo 'animalcules'! Yes, animalcules. Thanks to him we have understandings of bacteria and germs saving many lives, in some cases by inventions of medicines, cures and prevention actions for bacteria.
Wait a sec. isn't that the scientist that made his own microscope and discovered something with it? Ummm, it was bacteria! We learned this in science class a couple of weeks ago! We better go, before his spirit tries to hurt us! Run!
