The Proclamation of 1763 is very important because Indians rebelled against the British led by their chief Pontiac for the new land. The colonist kept moving into the Native Americans' land which caused fighting. The British then passed a law that restricted settlement west of the Appalachian mountains.
The Boston Tea Party/1773
The stamp act put taxes on all paper products making colonists mad. When people refused to pay for the stamps their was consequences like going to jail or getting fined. Colonists started protesting against the stamp act. The sons of liberty, a secret society formed of colonist sometimes used violence to scare tax collectors.

Let's shut down the harbor
The Boston Massacre was when a mob of colonists protested against the British soldiers. The colonists were hitting and throwing thing at the soldiers making them very angry. Out of nowhere the soldiers shot, killing five people including an African american Crispus Attucks. Claiming that they had heard the word fire from their captain they shot.

What do we do?
On December 16, 1773 colonist dressed up as native american and went on to boats filled with tea. The colonist threw 340 tea chests into the harbor as a protest because the British were taxing the tea.
The Intolerable Acts also known as the Coercive Acts were made because of the Boston Tea Party. The Prime minister and the parliament wanted to punish the colonists, so they shut down the harbor. The acts had many effects.
