  • The Caregiver is telling the story from prison of how he was insane because he heard things from heaven and hell. Also, he tells his story of when he killed an old man because he had an eye that looked like the eye of a vulture.
  • Climax
  • The Caregiver had been nice to the old man before he killed the old man because the old man had the eye of the vulture, and the Caregiver was being bothered.
  • Falling Action
  • The Caregiver had been sneaking into the old mans room in the middle of the night. His plan was the until he saw the old mans eye that is when he would make his move and take his life.
  • Resolution
  • The Caregiver took the old mans life because on the seventh day the old man woke up in the night and he spotted the old mans eye so he jumped on him and killed him.
  • The police came to investigate. But the Caregiver told the police that the old man had gone on vacation. The Caregiver was also acting like nothing was wrong and was being very nice to the police so they can think nothing was wrong. But the Caregiver had chopped the old man up in the bathroom and then he puts him under the floor.
  • The Caregiver then started getting nervous because he thought he was hearing the old mans heart, but in reality he was heating his own heart. The is when the Caregiver confesses to the police that he was guilty and that he had killed the old man.
