You just want to tax us, the colonists, to get money
THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!!!!
They just killed three people
Who do you think you are
We need a better governor
You soldiers are murderers
The Proclamation of 1763 had many different perspectives. Britain gained land in North America after the Seven Years' War. It issued Royal Proclamation and that caused colonists not be able to settle west of the Appalachian Mountains. Some people were happy that they got new land but other people were furious about not being able to settle west of the Appalachian Mountains.
The Tea Act/Boston Tea Party -1773
Many colonists were getting angrier and angrier that the British government kept searching for new ways to tax the American colonies. Colonists had formed a secret society called the Sons of Liberty, and protests against the Stamp Act started immediately.
The Intolerable Acts- 1774
The six steps you are making is not helping!
You're just increasing our anger
If you didn't pour all that tea in the Boston Harbor, none of this would have happened
On March 5, 1770, many Bostonians viewed the British troops as a threat by the British government. The soldiers knew that they are not welcome. Arguments and fights went on because both sides resented each other. A British soldier struck a colonist because they had an argument and a crowd arose yelling insults. More troops started arriving and the crowd was angry. Suddenly solders fired into the crowd and killed three people.
The First Continental Congress-1774
How are you all doing?
The Boston Tea Party was about tax on tea. Three ships loaded with tea from the British East India Company arrived at the Boston Harbor in 1773. Sons of Liberty demanded the ships to leave, but the Massachusetts governor wouldn't let the ships leave until they paid their duty. They weren't sure what to do so they disguised as Indians and dumped over 340 tea chests into the Boston Harbor.
We need all of the tea off of the ship!
The Intolerable Acts was when the British prime minister got furious after he heard about the Boston Tea Party. Since he got so furious, parliament decided to punish Boston with several effects.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!!!
The First Continental Congress was when Twelve of the Thirteen Colonies met from September 5 to October 26, 1774. They discussed that each colony should enforce a boycott of British goods and to enforce non-exportation of American goods to Britain.
Each colony should enforce a boycott
And enforce non-exportation of American goods to Britain
