- Your putrid noise is deafening fools! Now I, Grendel, shall silence you forever
- Later, after Grendel retreats to his hideout...
- I have never seen evil like this before, for the safety of all this monster must be slain
- Sometime later once Beowulf arrives...
- Have no fear Hrothgar! Grendel's days of praying on the innocent are over! I shall lure this Grendel into a trap and then kill the beast with my bare hands!
