  • Ukraine had one of the best wheat systems in the world. Their soil was very fertilized making it great for growing crops.

  •  Joseph Stalin was a Soviet revolutionary and politician of Georgian ethnicity governing the Soviet Union. He wanted to take away all the crops from Ukraine and take every piece of grain back to Russia to grow for himself.
