  • Exposition
  • I am not mad! I will tell you the whole story. There was an old man and I loved him but his eye bothered me it was pale and blue  and it was Evil.
  • Inciting Incident
  • Hello wow you are big. How much have you grown? Feeling okay? How are you?
  • I'm feeling fine, I'm great, and I guess I have grown over the years.
  • WHY does that horrid eye have to be here!!!!!!!!!!?
  • Rising Action
  • The narrator loves and old man very dierly. But he also has a feeling that the pale blue eye in the old mans face is evil and that it haunts him.
  • Climax
  • Every time the narrator saw the old mans eye he would feel nervous. So he finally decided that he would kill the old man and get ride of the pale blue eye forever.
  • Falling Action
  • Every night for eight nights the narrator would go to the old mans house exactly at midnight to watch the old man.
  • Resolution
  • He's here!!!. Remove these planks of the floor and you will see his body. I killed the old man. There is the beating of his dreadful heart!!!
  • Then on the eight night he decides to kill the old man because when the old man woke up the narrator saw the ye and started hearing some heartbeats coming from somewhere that keeps on getting louder and louder and louder at every moment thinking that it was old mans heartbeats. He jumps into the room while the old man screams the narrator then suffocates the old man by pulling the bed on top oh him.
  • After the narrator kills the old man, he goes to the bathroom and chops him up so there is no evidence in the bedroom. Then he hides the body under the floor, then three police officers show up because a neighbor had heard a scream from the old mans house. The narrator gives them chairs but then he starts hearing something... heartbeats the old mans heartbeats. The narrator starts yelling and screaming  but those heartbeats were truly his own.
  • The narrator keeps hearing the noise getting louder and louder he screams and yells while he officers keep on talking  as if nothing was happening and as if they where not able to hear the heartbeats. Soon after that he yells and admits that he had killed the old man and also yells that he was hearing the heartbeats of the old mans dreadful heart.
