  • Scientific Method Comic Strip
  • It is Lily's 13th birthday party Saturday night, and she wants to have candy everyone loves. But she does not know what candy she should have. This is a big PROBLEM that she needs to solve in three days.
  • What Candy do my friends like the best?
  • PROBLEM 
  • While outside swimming, Lily thinks of the idea to RESEARCH,  what peoples favorite candies are.  She can take a survey at school and determine what her friends top 5 candy picks are.  
  • I have a good idea!

  • Lily is excited to see what candies people pick, she creates a HYPOTHESIS  that the top candy will be fruity twist.
  • This snack helped refresh my mind.

  • Before school started,  Lily asked all her friends what their top candy picks where. Her EXPERIMENT was successful, and she went home with lots of data.   
  • What are your favorite candies?

  • Lily comes back home after a long day of school, and ANALYZES HER DATA. She can tell that there is a clear favorite candy.

  • Lily's hypothesis was correct, fruity twist was the candy that was voted for the most! Lilys CONCLUSION is that she will have fruity twist candies as well as swirl pops at here party.
  • I am so glad that I found the perfect candies for my party!
