  • NASA rejects the women but later allows women and colored to join.
  • Women in NASA go into space and other women's rights laws begin to be passed.
  • In the beginning, women weren't allowed to be in NASA or even in the army. 
  • Jerrie Cobb starts a protest with the help of Loveland and 12 other women to show that women are just as good as men if not better.

  •  Because of Jerrie Cobb, Nicole Malachowski gets inspired to go onto become the first women Thunderbird pilot. 
  • To encourage women and other minority's to join NASA they come up with the slogan, there is space for everyone.

  • Jerrie Cobb wanted to be an astronaut, but NASA rejected her, so she protested in hopes of equal rights for women. Thunderbirds are the best of the best pilots. Jerrie Cobb never got to go into space. People showed up just to make fun of Nicole flying in the air shows.
  • Nicole Malachowski was quoted because it shows that she gives credit to those before her and gives proof because she was someone who had first-hand experience with what Jerrie Cobb did for her.

  • Being the first Thunderbird pilot, Nicole Malachowski got made fun of, but still was able to beat the odds.
