  • What will be talking about today as 2 parts, the first part talks about the right to bear arms.
  • The right to bear arms has two sides to it.
  • The first side is people can own guns and government cannot prohibit them.
  • And the second side is congress cannot restrict a state from defending itself, this means that individuals do not have a right to own guns. 
  • The second part talks about searches/ seizures
  • This protects houses, belonging, and people from searches also protects against items being taken by government.
  • If they are going to search your house they must have a warrant based on probable cause meaning the warrant  must be specific. 
  • Searches can be done without a warrant if the person allows, item in plain site, awful arrest done first.
  • Also if people in immediate danger, evidence faces immediate destruction, and if suspect is about to scape.
