  • Gorge valley, the camp of George Washington's army. suffering a string of defeats and losing Pennsylvania (there capital at the time) the army's morale was low

  • I thought that the quarters that George Washington was living in would be better than the soldiers quarters and also quarters for other generals with Washington
  • Problems Faced by the Soldiers #2
  • The soldiers (patriots) living quarters weren't that fancy as these were huts built in week and the soldiers in the quarters also had low morale from the large amount of losses.

  • The patriots lost the capital to the British and that lowed there morale by a lot
  • The patriots were also low on supplies such as shoes/clothing and food.
  • He tought 100 men about maneuvers, and simplified manual of arms. These 100 men were spread apart to teach the rest of the army, and eventually all the army was trained.
