this is very important in history because after the 7 years of this war, the British had the indians stay were they are and have the american colonists to go west of the Appalachain Moutains, so no war or conflict came in.
the tea act, Boston tea party 1773
the sugar act started in 1764 when there was a tax put on the sugar and molasses. Most colonist didn't like this and what was happening so they started to smuggle. The colonists started protests and it was all started with Sam Adams .
the intolerable acts 1774
during 1770 the Boston massacre started, during this most people thought that the British red coats started it but there's a catch to it. The American colonist are actually the ones who started it because when they yelled fire three times, they for sure shot and that lead to 5 colonist dead which made lots of people get angery and thats a start to the revolution war.
the first continental Congress
this is just getting out of hand, if you act anything you have for the past year there will be a consequence
when the colonist were made and went on a British ship, that held a lot of expensive tea. They used there anger and threw all the tea over the ship into the harbor.
the intolerable acts were put in place after the Boston tea party as punishment. They closed off the Boston harbor and stop town to help control the colonist
British: there will be no more going in the harbor and no more town meetings till you guys get your act together. colonist: rude, its all your fault!!!!
colonist agreed to meet in Philadelphia for the first continental congress. they discussed what to do and how to change how the people were acting. It was just getting outta hand.
Colonist: what, its all you guys. it never got this bad when you werent here.
