After the war the the colonists tried to settle west of the Appalatian Mountains but do to native conflict the king passed the Proclamation of 1763 Which bands settlements across the proclamtion line.
The tea act/Boston tea party (1773)
No taxaton without representation
To pay for the debts of the seven year war parlament put taxes on sugar and molasses but the colonisnts did not like it they felt they didnt have repsenatives so they couldnt be taxed
the intolerable acts (1774)

on march 5th 1770 a mob formed around a group of soliders shouting verbal threats and throwing snowballs soon they all started to shout fire while there captain Captain perston told them not to shoot they shoot into the mob killing three instantly and two more days later.

To cool down the tension, Parliament repealed most of the townshend acts but it kept the tax on tea the colonists where not happy so they boycotted tea and on the night of December 16, 1773 a group of colonists dressed up as natives dumped over 340 tea creats into boston harbor.
After the prime minister got wind of the boston tea party he passed the intolerable acts which colsed boston habor and made it so that people couldn't meet in secret anymore.
